NEW Rangers signing Todd Cantwell is well known for his dribbling ability – but it’s his missus who has the real twinkle toes.
The midfielder, 24, arrived at Ibrox today as Michael Beale completed his first transfer as manager of the Ibrox club.
The former Norwich City playmaker was heavily linked with the Light Blues this month after the Championship club revealed they were willing to listen to offers for him this window.
But Beale wasn’t waiting about and has now landed the former England youth international after fending off interest for his signature.
But it appears Glasgow will be getting a double dose of talent arriving as his partner Emily McDonnell is a professional dancer.
The performer is listed as an instructor at Marham School of Performing Arts where her seriously impressive credentials are on show for everyone to see.
A graduate of Laine Theatre Arts, her CV shows she’s been dancing since the age of three and earned a whole host of top awards throughout her career.
The couple are childhood sweethearts and appear to be very supportive of one another.
Emily has often liked posts about her fella on social media.
While even as far back as 2017, Todd publicly declared she was the one for him.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Thank you my childhood, current and future sweetheart.”
Speaking to Rangers TV after completing his move, Cantwell said: “I am delighted and I feel very proud. This is obviously a massive football club and I am delighted to get going and to get started.
“This is a massive club and there is a massive responsibility when you sign for Rangers to be the player that the fans want to see.
“They want to see a player that works hard and a player that can win them games which is very important and that is something I am hoping I can bring.”
