RANGERS striker Alfredo Morelos has been offered to Italian giants Inter Milan on a free transfer this summer, according to a report.

Italian broadcaster SportMediaset reports a meeting between Morelos’ agent Alejandro Camano and Inter’s directors.

And top of the agenda, so they claim, was the possibility of Morelos joining the Italian champions under freedom of contract this summer.

The agent also represents Inter frontman Lauturo Martinez, although the report claims that his visit had nothing to do with the Argentina international, who ‘remains perfectly happy at Inter’.

Camano has a number of other high-profile clients on his register, including former Moroccan World Cup star Achraf Hakimi.

The report claims that Morelos is seen as a potential replacement if Joaquin Correa leaves the club in the summer.

While Morelos has responded well to the arrival of Michael Beale at Rangers, his future at the club remains shrouded in mystery.

The Gers, who have already added Todd Cantwell from Norwich, have been linked with a move for Morgan Whittaker from Swansea City.

It’s unclear where contract talks are in regards to the Colombian but chairman Douglas Park said at the club’s AGM that the demands of he and Ryan Kent could be too rich for Rangers.

The Gers had hoped the pair would sign new contracts.

But chairman Park dropped a bombshell during the club’s AGM when he told shareholders the duo had become “unattainable.”

He said: “The board have tried to negotiate with those players.

“There comes a stage, like in any negotiation, where you try to settle.

“If the terms that maybe people are looking for are unattainable, you sometimes have to accept you have done your best.”
