TWO back-to-back Rangers matches have been given rescheduled by the SPFL.

The Premiership fixtures against St Mirren and St Johnstone in November have been given new times.

Sky Sports have selected the Gers’ trip to Perth for TV.

It was initially due to take place on Saturday 5 November with a 3pm kick-off, but will now take place the day after instead.

It’ll be a 12pm start at McDiarmid Park on Sunday 6 November.

A week later, the trip to Paisley to take on the Buddies remains on Saturday 12 November, but now has a new kick-off time.

It’s also been selected for live TV coverage by Sky Sports and has been brought forward to a 12.30pm kick-off at the SMISA Stadium.

This will be the final match for both teams before domestic football takes its mid-season breather for the World Cup to take place.

It’s a busy period this for all teams, especially those competing in Europe.

Rangers will host Ajax on Tuesday 1 November before their Sunday meeting with St Johnstone.


There’s a Premiership fixture card the following mid-week as well, with Hearts heading to Ibrox before the St Mirren match.

The fixture card on 12 November will be the final round of matches before the focus of the footballing world turns to Qatar.

Scottish football will shut down for five weeks with teams returning to action on Saturday 17 December – a day before the World Cup Final is due to take place.
